UTM Trade-Up Program Overview - Extended

SonicWALL's Unified Threat Management (UTM) Trade-Up Program
provides an incentive for both owners of certain registered
SonicWALL products and owners of outdated competitive firewall/VPN
appliances to trade-up to a state of the art SonicWALL TZ or
NSA Series UTM solution.

with other promotions. Void where prohibited.

Competitive Trade-Up Program Details:
The SonicWALL UTM Trade-Up Program is simple. Customers owning
a qualified solution (see terms and conditions #1 and #2 for
UTM Trade-Up Program) are eligible to purchase one of SonicWALL’s
promotional TZ or NSA Trade-Up SKUs. These promotional SKUs
are priced equivalent to 3 times the 1 year price of SonicWALL's
Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite (CGSS) and they include
the TZ or NSA hardware. By purchasing the equivalent of 3 years
of service, you receive the associated hardware appliance (NSA
3500, 2400, 240, or TZ 210) at no additional cost. There is
an additional $100-$200 premium on wireless versions of these
promotional units. Restrictions do apply. Special SKUs have
been created for this program.

Terms & Conditions #1: For Owners trading up from non-SonicWALL
Firewall/VPN Appliances
- To qualify for this program, end-customer must be the
legal owner of ANY of the qualifying competitive product
listed below to activate ANY of the promotional NSA Trade-Up
SKUs.
- SonicWALL, Inc. reserves the right to validate legal
ownership (requiring a receipt or invoice showing competitive
solution).
- Limit one Promotional Product per Eligible Competitive

For the purpose of this program, the following definitions
apply:
- ELIGIBLE UNIT shall mean the qualifying competitive
solution the OWNER possesses and agrees to dispose
of in accordance with local laws
- PROMOTIONAL UNIT shall mean the SonicWALL appliance
purchased via the UTM Trade-Up promotion, using the promotional
product codes listed above
- OWNER shall mean the person who has legal title
of the competitive ELIGIBLE UNIT
- USER shall mean the SonicWALL end user with a
valid MySonicWALL.com user account who purchases a PROMOTIONAL
TRADE-UP UNIT
The PROMOTIONAL UNIT 3 year subscription license requires
prior ownership of a qualifying competitive solution. As a condition
of the promotion, the OWNER promises to dispose of the ELIGIBLE
UNIT once it receives the PROMOTIONAL UNIT. If the eligible
unit is not disposed of in 30 days, SonicWALL reserves the right
to decrease the CGSS services entitlement to a 1 year term
By purchasing the Promotional Unit owners accept the terms
and conditions of the Competitive Replacement Program as set
forth above. Note: End user redemption only. May not be combined

Terms & Conditions #2: For owners trading up from certain
registered SonicWALL products
- In order to qualify for this program, trade-in units
must be (a) currently registered with SonicWALL and (b)
an eligible product. Please note that remaining services
on ELIGIBLE UNIT will not be transferred to PROMOTIONAL
UNIT. The eligible products for this trade-in program

- TRADE-UP UNIT shall mean the SonicWALL appliance
purchased via the UTM Trade-up promotion, using UTM Trade-up
part numbers
- REGISTRATION DATE shall mean the day the USER registers the TRADE-UP UNIT with a valid account
on MySonicWALL.com
- OWNER shall mean the person who has legal ownership
of the SonicWALL unit
- USER shall mean the SonicWALL end user or reseller
with a valid MySonicWALL.com user account
