SonicWALL requires continuous coverage for Support Agreements:

New agreements are retroactively activated to the expiration date of the most recent warranty or support agreement. SonicWALL Support Services Reinstatement enables customers with expired warranties or support who purchase new support agreements a full 12 months of support from the date of activation. Also included in SonicWALL Support Services Reinstatement is a single firmware update, allowing customers access to the most current firmware features.

Customers may also purchase a 2-Year Support contract without the need to purchase the Reinstatement License and receive 2-years of support from the date of activation.

SonicWALL now offers customers a lower cost option for maintaining software and firmware updates on an annual basis. Please note that these updates do NOT include any technical support. We highly recommend maintaining the more comprehensive Dynamic 8x5 Support or Dynamic 24x7 Support as these plans cover hardware warranty, technical support and software/firmware updates.
