No. SIA is a cloud-delivered service that works independently of your firewall. Customers with Gen 7 or newer SonicWall firewalls can connect to the Cloud Secure Edge platform natively, but SIA licensing can also be used with the SonicWall client on any supported Windows or MacOS device.

SIA is licensed per user with 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year subscription options available. Pricing scales based on user count. Contact us for volume pricing on larger deployments.

SIA currently supports Windows and MacOS clients. The cloud-based DNS filtering applies to any device on a supported network without requiring a client installation.

Yes. SIA and Secure Private Access (SPA) are both components of the Cloud Secure Edge platform. They can be licensed independently or together. Combining them gives you full SSE coverage — protecting both internet access and private application access.

CASB (SaaS App Directory) is available as an optional add-on with SIA Advanced. It is not included by default but can be added to your subscription. Contact us to discuss adding CASB to your SIA Advanced deployment.
