MPSS (Managed Protection Security Suite) is SonicWall’s most complete bundle of security services. It includes firewall monitoring, proactive management by the SonicSentry team, firmware updates, monthly health checks, and a $200,000 embedded cyber warranty.

MPSS is available for SonicWall Generation 7 and newer firewalls that are managed through Network Security Manager (NSM) SaaS.

The SonicSentry team provides 24×7 monitoring, alerts if your firewall goes offline or changes are made, scheduled firmware updates, monthly security health checks, and ongoing configuration management to keep your firewall optimized.

MPSS includes 30 days of data retention by default. You can add optional 90-day or 365-day retention tiers if your business needs longer compliance coverage.

Each eligible firewall licensed with MPSS is backed by a $200,000 cyber warranty provided by Cysurance. This helps cover financial losses in the event of a covered cyberattack.

After purchasing, you’ll register your firewall, complete initial setup, and then the SonicSentry team will guide you through onboarding. They’ll provide a health check report and apply best practices to make sure your firewall is secure and compliant.

Once you’re onboarded, you’ll receive instructions on how to contact the SonicSentry support team directly for any configuration requests or assistance.
